Some people turn into werewolves so that they can tear people and animals limb from limb.

Others do it to commit highway robbery.

Only a few witches' gatherings are presided over by the Devil's own grandmother!

The Devil is only too happy to gloat if you walk down the same villainous path as your father, grandfather, and great-grandfather before you.

: Cian found his way to Balor’s domain and discovered the tower in which Eithne was imprisoned. Balor’s daughter bore Cian three sons, all of whom were thrown into the sea by their furious, frightened grandfather when he discovered their existence. Do not summon the Devil in the presence of amateurs. They will always screw it up.

In Tokyo there is a statue of Hachiko the faithful dog near the busy Shibuya crossing. Legend goes that after the dog's owner died unexpectedly he continued to wait for him each and every day for the next nine years. The statue is now a famous meeting place.

"An ancient African water spirit, Portuguese slave traders, and a snake charmer traveling with the circus--incredibly, all of their stories collide in a narrative that spans centuries, continents, and the best and worst of human instincts."

Night hags are known for riding their victims while they are asleep.

But sometimes, their victims manage to turn the tables.

First volume now at close to 900 pages, making publication on a POD site impossible. Second volume just over 500 pages. Third volume <200 pages. This gives me cause to consider compiling volumes two and three in a single binding.

Volume one is a pain, though. I'm either going to have to increase the paper size or shrink the type.

(Vols 4–6 still unknown.)
