"Mr. #Sandman" (or "Mister Sandman") is a #popularSong written by #PatBallard and published in 1954. Any idea why there might be a white cat ornament on this roof? It's in a locally reputed witch village (Whiteleaved Oak) if that's any help! Google wasn't definitive.

Use a Hand of Glory - an item of #folkloric legend!

To create it, the hand of a criminal executed on a gibbet had to be cut. It was then pickled in urine for 13 days, dried in the sun, then nailed to an oak tree for 3 days & nights!

The Hand supposedly would hold candles and in some cases it was said the fingers would glow! As a result it was popular amongst thieves!

Finished artwork of my Wiedergänger. Wiedergänger (Revenant) are ghoulish creatures from Germanic and Scandinavian folklore. Some bog bodies may have been sank into the bog as a measure to prevent them from returning as a Wiedergänger.

...I'm very much an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to music.
