I touched #Hugo yesterday for the first time in years. Picked a theme and started adding some content - that was a breeze (yes I'm up to something).

I wanted to add alternative sources for videos tho but the omnipresent #fontawesome lib may know a lot of brands but is missing icons for the #openweb

https://pfefferle.dev/openwebicons/ has me covered on this and while this really is in need of updates for more #Fediverse icons I have at least a Fediverse icon itself available :D

This need more. Any takers?

Monetizing #opensource #foss project can be a challenge. If you have a community, even small one, consider #crowdfunding.

1. Larger communities should consider more elaborate crowdfunding campaigns. #FontAwesome v5 raised over $1mil.

2. Smaller communities can effectively raise money with small, targeted campaigns, such as specific features. Modoboa raised €700 for #2FA feature.

Removed #FontAwesome from my website and replaced it with a locally-hosted Feather Icons SVG sprite. Digging it so far! Fewer requests, smaller footprint, and I abstracted the implementation into a helper function for ease of use. 💪 https://haliphax.dev

Font Awesome (a popular font for webdesign) doesn't have a fediverse icon, but it has a Mastodon icon.
