And in the front I've since seen that jve definitely got an Aromatnaya quince that I grafted growing from said graft and a Frostbite apple, so having seen growth from the rootstock plant on these first... within the next few days I'm going to go & pinch back more buds on the rootstock plants in the backyard that aren't growing in their grafts yet.

Some pictures - I'm not sure if all the grafts I've done that I see suckering on have really "failed to take" or what... but??? I guess if all do, as long as the rootstock plants survive - I'll just try again either later this year or next year. #FoodForrest . Most of the rootstock plants that are suckering are the Myrobalan & Marriana - both of which are known to frequently.
