The central character of this story is made out to be kind of a joke, and his typical dinner of pizza does rather undermine his earnestness in taking food companies to task for misleading claims about the health of their products -- but FFS, somebody's got to. The real joke is what these companies get away with in a country with an obesity epidemic and widespread heart disease.

I hate tricky It's been ILLEGAL to sell meat & dairy with antibiotics and added hormones since the 1970s. So why should I pay extra for something they're legally REQUIRED to provide. And so what if the bison (or whatever animal the meat us from) ate a vegetarian diet?

These chicken eggs are advertised as "Bite Size"...

Methinks some clever-clogs marketing person is relying on the positive association with other bite-sized things (i.e., chocolates).

"Camille Perrin from consumer organisation BEUC also reserved criticisms for the idea. “Interesting to see all those screaming [that] Nutriscore is too directive and paternalistic [are] liking a tweet that basically suggests an AI-powered connected fridge should tell me what I can eat or not,” she tweeted".
