In the wholesale market of Jlm, there is a special connection between ultra orthodox "Gemilut Hasadim" groups, workers who are mostly Palestinians and mutual aid groups who work together to deliver rescued food to people who need it.

We install community fridges (https://nycfridge.com/) and establish food rescue operations in areas of high food insecurity, focusing NYC public housing residents. Since Fall 2020, we have distributed over 350,000 meals and 1,500,000 pounds of food to people in need in NYC.

Just finished a great game of Co-opoly with friends from Colorado Springs Food Rescue. We adopted a "cost of living plus 10" policy for salaries so that each person could meet their needs and be paid the same amount above that.
