So, I'm nearing being finished with #ForbiddenWest. I get that Aloy has been eye rolling her way through how stupid everyone else is, because she is a genius that understand the real history of their post-apocalyptic world, but Alva, as a bright, cautious, mid-level priestess of her people who is constantly doing end runs around the male egos of her clan superior, with spurious religious interpretations of what just happened, is hilarious.

So apparently there's a #MetalGearSolid 3 remake coming out, presumably exclusively for PS5?

... between that and the "Aloy gets a Girlfriend" DLC for #ForbiddenWest I may have to upgrade my console at this rate.

(Nevermind all the Zelda hype making me wanna buy a Switch, but that's a different nerd problem).

I’m finally getting around to playing #HorizonZeroDawn #ForbiddenWest and I’m enjoying it as much as the first game. I love the fact the new enemies are the Zeniths, a group of the rich and powerful that abandoned Earth when all seemed lost to terraform a new world. They decided that doing that was too hard so came back to terraform Earth to their liking instead. Seems a bit of a meta commentary on the rich and powerful of today and their plans to survive climate catastrophe by leaving Earth or hunkering down in a bunker somewhere.

I’ve been having far too much fun planning for my family Dungeons & Dragons and Dungeon World games. Picked up the Mor Aldenn setting PDF and am planning on adapting it for that family DW game. Plus I’ve been reading Of Dice and Men by David Ewalt and played a good amount of Horizon Forbidden West yesterday. It’s been a great start to the weekend!

I havent finished Horizon Forbidden West yet, but im already torn on what I want to play next, Maybe The witcher 3, Maybe Lara Croft, Maybe Assasins creed? Maybe something else completely? Maybe I just finish this one before I worry about the next 😂
