They also use literature from computer science, AI industry &policy report. Key takeaways is the idea of mechanical objective is insufficient in AI based recruitment.

Jesse Haapoja presentation talks on 'Role theoretical approach to platform disconnection'. It centers around the various roles we play on social media platforms and transition between our online & offline roles.
Key takeaways were we play multiple roles simultaneously and platforms offer us some roles more readily than others.

In the first presentation titled 'What is Fake about Fake AI?' by David Moats talks about how we need to change the framing around it before accusing it to be crap. He illustrates it through examples in AI in recruitment and music.
He provokes discussion on the topic through the lens of novelty instead of accuracy and leaves us with the question 'If diversity is the problem for hiring, then what's so bad about some randomness?'
