Hello Readers, this is a great book for children to learn about forgiveness. Often we hear that we must forgive, we know we need to do it. To really forgive, we must know it's not the person who wants to hurt us, but they are reacting to their past. When we forgive, we become powerful and happy people. God also wants children to forgive because He has forgiven us.

I wish someone had told me, you don’t need to #forgive in order to move on.
I wish someone had validated me when I said, you can forgive without forgetting. Because keeping tally is taking responsibility for yourself, and anyone who tells you not to learn from history is probably trying to pull a fast one on you.

My father was an emotionally scarred #sadistic man. He had his reasons for abusing (physical and emotional) me, which included #starvation, #abandonment #Abuse #Beatings & #deprivation in#Stalin #WWII #RedArmy. I don't #forgive him, but understand why he was as he was. I rarely think about him except on #fathersday when I'm grateful to have broken the pattern of abuse & been, overall, a decent parent.
