Just finished preping my Fed & State taxes for filing today.

Not due for us here in CA who live in certain affected counties until 10/16 but I only owe a minmal amountto the Feds and nothing to the State and I don't trust that the Feds/State will recognize that I live in a county for which the filing deadline has been extended.

So, I'm going to file "on time" before the generally applicable due date on 4/18 anyway because I don't want to see a late filing notice in my PO Box from either the Feds or the State and then have to jump thru hoops to get them to reverse any fines and interest charges.
