I've just started reading this year's pile, and I'm struck by how many HighSchool and College #students overlook differences between #FormalWriting and #Informal.
I admit that I had to look up a couple of terms in online dictionaries to make sure they hadn't become mainstream. One was "#Extracurricular," used as a noun.
Reading some of the essays felt like listening to an enthusiast, but one without a "pause" button. Paragraph breaks would have helped them.
