My teenage son was being a horrible ass yesterday, and no one could deal with him. So I told him to eat and out on good outdoor shoes. Took him to the #Gila National Forest by way of #FortBayard #NewMexico.

And we hiked. I didn’t lecture him about his behavior, and hardly spoke at all. I let the forest do the #parenting. We walked a good 10 miles. Then I bought him a burger and took him home with a different attitude.
