Fort Beauséjour, covered in gorgeous lichen. It was built in 1751 by the French, taken by the English in 1755, kept the Americans out during the American revolution in 1776, was garrisoned again during the war of 1812, then declared surplus property in 1835 and abandoned, until being designate a National Historic Site of Canada in 1920. :)
