Four years ago yesterday, I decided I wanted to get coffee from this coffee truck with my good friend and current #NavajoTimes editor Krista Allen. The coffee truck was located at #MonumentValley, a good 3 hour drive from #FortDefiance. Krista lives closer to #Page,Arizona, so it wasn’t as far a drive for her.

Skipped work and made it to MV, where I took this pic. The #coffeetruck was nowhere in sight, but we played tourist. It was a great day.

My community of #FortDefiance is a tiny community but there is a wall with beautiful #murals. This #Diné mural is a brand new one painted on by the local high school’s #art teacher.
