GNOME Web can also be perfectly used on other desktops, such as those based on the Qt library (KDE, LXQt, Deepin etc). It's just that it takes advantage of already-loaded GTK libraries, saving resources and being more integrated with the rest of the system.

Such applications are #Clementine #Strawberry and #Rythmbox if I'm not mistaken

That our environments were ours to create and manage. And yet today we depend on other peoples work to the exclusion of self autonomy. So much project drama out there with this idea that individuals or companies cannot host their own or maintain the frameworks themselves. Personally, we programmers have gotten intellectually lazy!!!!
