For this weeks #Photomonday, let's go to #BerlinMitte again. The picture shows the river #Spree and the Paul-Löbe-Haus, which contains offices of more that 250 German politicians. On the left side, you can spot the old #Reichstag building.

Yesterday, my Sunday walk led me to the former "Zentralvieh- und Schlachthof" (central stockyard) in #Berlin-#Friedrichshain (near Landsberger Allee) and the former water tower makes a perfect contribution for this week's #Photomonday #Fotomandag #Fotomontag

For historic reasons, #Berlin still has a "Mohrenstraße" (and even an underground station named after it). The name literally translates "Moor Street" and is archaic in both languages. For decades, people discuss renaming it. Adding two dots would be the easiest solution, the it would be "Möhrenstraße" ("Carrot Street"). Fast, cheap, easy, so it's very unlikely to be realized in Berlin. Two dots (typographically a "diaeresis") could make a huge difference. #Fotomontag #Photomonday #Fotomandag

For this weeks #Photomonday #Fotomontag #fotomandag I'm quite proud to post this one. Capturing a lightning is not too difficult if you know the trick. Capturing a light striking the #Berlin television tower (#Fernsehturm #FernsehturmBerlin) is pure luck.

Before WWII, #Berlin had loads of industry. One of those companies was #AEG, their headquarters and plant were located south of #Humboldthain. Large portions of the site still exist (today e. g. home of #DeutscheWelle), including the old turntable. Bösebrücke in #Berlin, sometimes referred to as "Bornholmer Brücke". In 1989, this one became the first border control point to be opened in the #BerlinWall. Today, it's a normal connection between two Berlin districts. #fotomandag #Fotomontag #Photomonday

Back in 2018 when the #Bjørvika tram station in #Oslo was not in use yet. I always loved the colors, especially on a sunny day. #photomonday #fotomandag (in the meantime the station is served by #Ruter/#Sporveien lines 13 and 19).
