Listening for the first time to a 78 RPM home recording picked up recently from an estate sale. Probably from 1940s (US), recorded live with what sounds like an upright piano and 5 untrained tenor voices. The highlight: “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.” Magical like an aural time machine.
