We return to Williams Hill and explore the Bureau of Land Management Route W15 in Lockwood California! I had spotted route W15 on maps and saw that it is technically part of the Williams Hill BLM area, but that it is not accessible from the main area without a big detour. So now my curiosity was piqued! What is this track, and is it worth visiting? We set off to find out!

Our Scotland 2018 travelogue continues as we return from the Isle of Mull to Scotland’s mainland headed toward Kyle of Lochalsh, our destination for the day. We stop for a pub lunch in Oban, drive the stunningly scenic ‘Road to Skye’ through Glen Shiel, and stop at famous Eilean Donan Castle before settling in for the night at comfortable Balmacara Hotel.

Episode 4 of our 2018 Scotland trip begins as we take the morning ferry on the short hop from Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull over to the Isle of Iona. We visit the beautiful Iona Abbey, then catch the ferry back to Mull and drive the Land Rover Defender 110 across the Island to Craignure where we set up the iKamper rooftop tent to camp for the night.

In the 2nd video in our 2018 Scotland series (and, ever) we collect our Land Rover Defender 110 in Peebles and then head over to the Trossachs via Stirling and Callander en route to Loch Lomond for our first night camping in the iKamper Skycamp rooftop tent.
Things didn’t go perfectly smoothly, but we did eventually set up camp near Luss on Loch Lomond!
