Warning: this is an upsetting film from Channel 4 News exposing the cruelty of #FoxHunting and that it is still continuing despite being banned 18 years ago.

The film shows #HuntSabs here doing an amazing job to document criminality and cruelty and the utter disdain for wildlife shown by these so-called custodians of tradition.

The only way to ensure that foxes aren't hunted is to #BanFoxHunting entirely. It has no place in our society at all.

It's one thing to be partisan and present facts that support your position. It's another thing to make up facts and spread propaganda. Fox is clearly the later. I hope Dominion takes them for a big ride in the courts.

Local news story: someone has a security camera on their back garden – a fox runs in and hides behind the bins – A PACK OF HOUNDS JUMPS OVER THE FENCE AND TEARS IT TO PIECES. Then some man hoys over the fence, picks up the dead fox, sneaks off with it in his coat and gives it to a guy on a quad with no plates. The hunt clearly visible on their horses. Oh, and the #FoxHunting and #GeoCache aspect... take a picture proving you found the hidden APRS transmitter, and send your own APRS beacon from that same loc.

Maybe 1 point for showing your radio received the (very low power) beacon, 5 points for the photo of the actual hidden transmitter.

Here's an idea (probably already been thought of before) to perhaps interest more #diversity (age, gender, what-have-you) in #HamRadio

Some combination of #GeoCaching, #FoxHunting, & good old fashioned #ScavengerHunt leveraging #APRS

Anyone with a smart-phone can participate, probably, using the aprs.fi app.

Clues go out as APRS bulletins.

APRS objects get put on the map at specific coordinates, & there's a task to be performed at each (probably take/submit a photo).
