Sorting out my sock/glove #knitting needles ready to cast on for my #FOYAL project, I opened a little project bag and found a nearly complete pair of socks. Like, 12 rows off complete.

I have no idea what past-Kris was thinking, shoving these #OnYourToes #socks by Ann Budd, made with delicious Easyknits yarn, into a random baggie. On the plus side - new socks! 😁

Racing to finish binding this #quilt before we head out to Middle Girl’s 21st birthday dinner. Time vanishes when you’re #sewing though. Once I’ve trimmed it, it will be making its way to my binding fairy (aka Mom) and I will finally get to cast on my #FOYAL #knitting project

My first finished #FastenOffYAL project is the #CamdenCap by @WoollyWormhead
It was a joy to knit and an adventure to add the cap/brim. Unfortunately it turned out to big after a wash, I seem to have that with hats. I'm going to see if a sinch in the brim helps, but I'm definitely making another one too with a deeper brim cap.

Having gotten a completed braid and working on starting the rest of the shawl is so satisfying with this project (pattern is Macha by Aoibhe Ni, yarn is Marisol Nuna). I'm glad i found this at last year's #foyal and it's my current #foyal2022 project because of that now that I have good yarn.
