The alternative I have is carrying a second phone with plain AOSP (my trusty but slow #FP2), and either use the wifi hotspot on my daily driver, or pay EUR 2 per month for a second line.

@elbflorentine Meinst du das #fp3 mit Vorgänger? #fp1 und #fp2 hatten hier wirklich einige Defizite. Das #fp3 nutze ich aber schon seit kurz nach dem Release und es läuft immer noch top. Kein Vergleich zu den ersten beiden. Keinerlei Ersatzteile bisher, sogar noch der selbe Akku. Ok, mit #lineageos und #microg, aber würde von der original Software keine großen Unterschiede erwarten. Beim #fp4 dürfte das alles ähnlich sein.

Meine persönliche #Fairphone Geschichte:

Als die Zeit begann, dass Akkus bei Handys nicht mehr getauscht werden konnten, erstellte ich mir einen Suchagent auf #willhaben auf der Suche nach einem #Fairphone

Da mein damaliges #Motorola dank @e_mydata noch funktionierte, war der Druck nicht so groß und es blieb Zeit auf ein Schnäppchen zu warten. Kam dann auch so, es wurde ein #FP2
Einige Monate alles super, auch wieder dank @e_mydata
Irgwann gab es dann aber seinen Geist auf, ich hatte das geschrottet, was nicht ersetzbar war, damit war es das erstmal. Back to #Motorola und #Willhaben Suchagent, diesmal mit Fokus auf #FP3

Nach einiger Zeit tauchte wieder ein Schnäppchen auf, und seitdem bin ich stolzer #Poweruser eines #FP3

Da ich für meine Eltern den Einkauf von Handys übernehmen darf, ist meine Mama jetzt auch stolze Besitzerin eines #FP4

Solange die Updtes von @murena für mein #FP3 weiterhin kommen, wird das auch noch länger mein #Fairphone bleiben
