Some stills from this year's lights. These are some of the animated 'intermission scenes' that play when the show is waiting to be triggered.

I use Falcon Player and controllers to drive the pixels, and #HomeAssistant via #MQTT to drive #FPP. This makes it easy to control the garage and front porch security lghts (smart bulbs), and even color-match to the current scene.

I think #FPP has a plugin to do this with #Twilio. But I found a cheaper way to trigger the start of my #xLights holiday show via SMS/Text (and provide custom responses to other trigger words) using #HomeAssistant and Voip.ms.

This write-up covers the #HA and SMS/Voip.ms part. From there, just use #MQTT from HA to FPP to control the show.

1/ Dimanche c'était #cicp ... cad concert de soutien (en l'occurence au comité de soutien Anti-rep) au CICP (un super lieu militant à Paris).
@Konstroy , y installe son studio mobile et fait les interviews sur place. Habituellement on continue la retransmission des concerts en audio (deux micros, une mixette, un icecast)... Mais là j'ai tenté la vidéo.
Et voilà ce qu'on pu voir les happy few qui étaient à l'écoute au moment du concert des Marteaux Pikettes :

Dimanche je fus été à #Konstroy, émission punk sur #FPP, pour l'interview de la chouette équipe de Yiny, une orga qui a investi le fediverse en lançant une instance peertube pour héberger des vidéos pounkes (Yiny Is Not Youtube).
Ca faisait un bail que j'avais pas fait d'itw, et ça c'est plutôt bien passé (bon je suis pas le meilleur juge pour mes propres prestations, on est bien d'accord).
