Because the working time alone is enormous and real mosses are valuable, I could imagine a baroque gold frame. Or I could mount it on 200 yrs old oak bark.

If you want to frame 3D #embroidery normally - there are special, deeper #frames for that. And you need non-reflecting glass. I have used such here, for example (you can get flatter frames, too):
