Francisco Oropeza, 38, fled after Friday night's that left five people dead, including an 8-year-old boy. This after authorities said his neighbors asked him to stop firing off rounds in his yard because they had a baby trying to sleep.

Investigators said they found clothes and a phone while combing a rural area that includes dense layers of the forest but tracking dogs lost the scent.

"He could be anywhere now," Sheriff Capers said.
