@seattlebateblog @KinkTodd - Visiting Atlanta Jacks in 2010 was a VERY positive experience for me & told a different story of what's at least possible in the American South. It was very open, interactive and wonderfully diverse.

AOK Jacks (RIP) was far deeper in the South: Fort Smith, AR! The men who came to that gathering were thirsty like they'd just crawled out of the desert.

@ClaireCopperman @moviemorgz in the US you can get in a fistfight over whether chilli has beans in it. The answer is that chilli has spices, beef, tomatoes, onions and smoked peppers.
