It's #FreeCADfriday again! This week:
Air exhaust w/ activated carbon filter for a #3DPrinting cabinet . The blue part (screenshot) will be printed in TPU to absorb any vibrations from the #Noctua fan. I'm gonna add a fine (fly–) mesh to the basket to keep the activated carbon granulate in place. The height of the basket (it's capacity) is variable by choosing any height for the acrylic. The basket is held at the cabinet's top plate with magnets.

Well, that turned out well. The PTFE tube is held tight and filament slides through like nothing.
The clamp works as intended. Just gotta add the option for a magnet and then it's ready for publishing.

:freecad: #FreeCADFriday..show us what you're working on!

This is a little late for #FreeCADFriday, but these are the latest updates to my gearing system for a DC motor. The whole design is parameterized, and making the outer ring gear thicker allows multiple stages of gear reduction to be packed in.
Now, I just need to dial in my printer settings and find a better lubricant than Vaseline

My #freecadfriday was on monday😅. After a lot of testflights on the weekend, do some updates in @FreeCAD and had much more coffee...

#FreeCADFriday Revisiting a project as my 'I'm unemployed and will work on what I wish!' project. I'm really enjoying my approach on this project. Each piece of the #Assembly4 are created in the PartDesign WB, top down as if cut from plywood (cause they will be) and put together using Assembly 4. This allows a ton a flexibility because my part histories stay very shallow. DatumPlanes, offset with the same Spreadsheet values used for Pads, are used to not need to worry about Face names changing.
