We have long known that #MSGithub's business plan it to "love #openSource" like a #BoaConstrictor.

A few years ago now they blocked Tor-based contributors. It was the canary in the coal mine.

Hi Jeff, congrats on being literally 'far ahead of the curve' on this.

If its not an inconcenience, it might be nice to have 5-7 data points that we can use to present this sobering data.

Someone came up with an idea to use old commits, too. All great ideas.

We need to be able to present just how cognitively dissonant a #freedomRespecting person needs to be to ignore CloudFlare — the #octopusSquid in the room taking the internet private.

Crippleware indeed… as it relates to #Tusky et al that are not Fedilab.

I think we need to get serious here, there's a pattern of what seems like #lobotomy in the #freedomSoftware movement.

We see tech get stolen from #freedomRespecting people constantly. Years ago the #Diaspora dev apparently #suicided also. #WinklevossTwins could be another example. What about #Cloudflare's Lee?

Seems some real #piracy is happening. We hate to sound conspiratorial but how else do we describe this?
