So today seems a good day to remind the world of the thousands of Belarusians who have been imprisoned, tortured, killed.

Not least the musicians of Irdorath, who have been victimised by the state, brutalised and been handed heavy sentences in awful conditions. Their crime? Playing folk music on the bagpipes at a peaceful rally.
