The US is clearly most responsible for proselytizing #neoliberalism (aka the cult of the #FreeMarket) and spreading it's harmful tenants across the globe. The "Washington Concensus" is aptly named.

However, I think we should move away from calling free market #capitalism the "US system" because it disguises the real nefarious actors. This is a system pushed by the rich and powerful (who dominate US economic policy) upon everyone else, regardless of country.

#LeftLiberals are thinking in the same #nationalist categories, like ..... surprise surprise .... #nationalists.

For instance the new "#humanitarian" driven #sanctionism, to exclude the "axis of evil" states and their supporters, gives up previous #freeMarket doctrines and follows a nationalization of economy introduced under Trump.

#Democratic #Leftlibs are basically the same like nationalist #Republicans. They just have different flavors.

#Military spending, financial praxis like #austerity methods, hegemonial thinking, #neocolonialism, refugee policies, support for #police and so on, is all the same structured thinking like nationalists.

The difference is only what is secondary, like gay marriage, weed legalization, #BLM and so on.

In real politics and economy it doesn't matter anyhow. #ClimateChange neither.

This exposes the downside of the capitalist society and especially in the US fascist version, where a small group of oligarchs influences a dictatorial rule. The company with the submarine could marked a product that did not meet basic safety requirements. A whistleblower was paid to shut up. I just read someone on #medium post about how #intellectuals are stupid and talk about irrelevant stuff that dont matter in our regular life.

Big thing to say right? I was interested to read their reasoning until the examples or irrelevancy they used were discourses on subjects like #FreeMarket and abolition of the #police , and grouped these subjects with ontology.

This is what they do guys, gaslight us on our intellectual agency on matters that are the most critical to our existence.
