On this day, the 12th anniversary of the start of the Syrian revolution for dignity, we once again observe how few Syrians (as one example among countless many non-Western populations) have chosen to move their work and words to the #fediverse.

It is a shame how silent this space is compared to the (still obviously atrocious) birdsite, where jubilance, hope, and defiance are at a raucous pitch.

Perhaps there are good follows we are unaware of. Recommendations welcome.
