The line for the #Q23 was so long that it actually wrapped around back towards the #bus stop. No frequent service here!

Unfortunately all of these people will likely have to board the bus one by one at the front, because we insist upon charging fares upon entry for a service that should be free. I imagine that takes a while.

I guess there's another silly piece against #FreeTransit going around. I wrote in December:

Imagine if, when a driver demanded free parking, the other members of their automobile club chewed them out: “What are you doing? Without our parking fees, they’re going to cut the budget for highway building!” The car gets whatever it wants, freeways and free parking both, because it’s taken seriously. The point is for transit to be equally as popular and taken seriously.
