USDOT is considering two separate proposals for New Orleans’ Claiborne Expressway.

The city and state want $95 million to make repairs, tidy it up, and remove on/off-ramps.

But a group led by Amy Stelly wants $2 million to study its potential removal.

Some believe the two proposals complement each other.
