My #linux laptop (#Thinkpad E590) #freezes in unpredictable situations. I've had this in various reinstalls of different Linux distributions (#ubuntu, #fedora, #debian). The EFI hardware test does not indicate any faults, neither did memtest. Can anyone give me a hint for finding out what's wrong? I suspect a hardware issue as I've changed the software stack multiple times, still I'd like to know what's wrong. I don't really know what to google for.

The things like #crashing like all the time. Too many #freezes.

It's not an enjoyable experience in #Desktop mode.

This account is for praising the #SteamDeck because I'm using it from a Steam Deck and when the Steam Deck #crashes, #freezes etc. I obviously can't use it since, well it's #obvious what I just said.

When it crashes and freezes etc. then I post from another account where I'm the opposite of praising and I complain and make a big scene out of things.

I updated the firmware on my Cisco SPA504G phone, now it seems like it's unstable, freezes up and I am having to unplug and reboot all the time now. I think I've had to reboot 3 times since I updated yesterday.
Guess I need to figure out how to go back to the other firmware.

Sometimes it's just not a good idea to update.
