For city pop fans, there was a band called Omega Tribe. They have really good music and it's worth checking out.

The later years featured Joey McCoy, Black American. After the band disolved, he released an album with english versions of some classic Omega Tribe songs. Worth listening to both versions.

I think my favourite is Summer Suspicion (Both original and Joey's versions).
