I didn’t get to listen to much music last week so it took me a while to catch up to last week’s releases and check out stuff from yesterday. From last week The new #Katatonia is continuing to grow on me. I also gave a spin to the new Imperium Dekadenz, who I never really heard of before but it was pretty good. From yesterday’s releases so far I’m digging the new …And Oceans release. I’m not really that much of. Black metal fan but I guess it’s that time of the year now… #FridayReleases #Metal

The new Katatonia album, continues the streak of back to back great albums. I need to give it a few more spins but I bet it’ll make it to my top albums list at the end of the year. Quiet a few good new albums came out yesterday! The unexpected surprise for me was the new Obituary, which I loved at first listen, though that could be because I was busy and annoyed dealing with some SQL and that was exactly the soundtrack I needed at that moment so I have to give it a few more spins.

I was pretty excited about the new VV but it’s too much Tears on Tape and too little Razorblade Romance for my taste.
