#FridayRideClub was a surprising success given the weather. Went out on the Karate Monkey #singlespeed #mtb, and we slip-slided over the South Downs, finishing with a coffee at Flourpot.

Really pleased I went with the #Arcteryx Beta LT and #7mesh Thunderpants, as yet again they did exactly what they were meant to: keep me comfortable. Even if I did have to hose both myself and the bike down after 🤣

It’s dark, cold, and raining. The #FridayRideClub ride starts in 37 minutes. I am balancing up not wanting to go because the weather is trash, and the fact that being used to riding #mtb in trash conditions is a useful comfort when #bikepacking. It’s just not a fun reason to go ride. #urgh

What a good #FridayRideClub the other day with @jimbosussexmtb and Chris. We caught the snow before the winds changed and the rain came.
