Just want to say how much I love my local county library system & the people who staff it!

Also, once per week the local #friendsOfTheLibrary opens doors to their #bookSale room. One of my favorite places, & a fun way to help fund the #library. #PublicLibraries are wonderful.

Thinking about volunteering in retirement. I volunteer for a Friends of the Library group, and we are aging out. We need some young newly retired people - with time - to help support our library. How to make it happen?

Next year I am trying to serve on the #FriendsOfTheLibrary board and help them with community engagement and fundraising (since our library was defunded by fascists 😥).
