"More artists joined year after year, until in 1957 the Fringe Society was formed. The Society had a role in helping to promote and organise the Fringe – but with one proviso, which is still on their website:
the Society was to take no part in vetting the festival’s programme.
In other words, there is no curation of the Fringe programme."

Fringe 2x10: "Grey Matters": A massive mythology episode! I remembered what this one was all about from the title, but there were still details that I didn't recall and kept me engaged. Beyond the reveals about Walter's brain (and mental state), there are some great scenes between Walter and Peter. And of course, there is the final scene, which continues to show Belly in a chilling light. #fringe

Some #TV shows I've watched so far this year:
I watched the final two episodes of #Fringe today. Not the best ending, but a fitting one for the series, and solidifies my sales pitch: "What if The X-Files, but the overarching plot was actually worthwhile."
Watched #TheSopranos at work earlier this year. It's as great as everyone says it is, and I love the ending.
Now we're watching #BreakingBad at work. Eager for the conclusion—mostly so we can move on to something that's good!🫠 #Television

BIG NEWS: I'm debuting some new work at Faversham Fringe in October: "TAKE PRIDE", a show about inclusivity (or lack of it) at Prides.
Big rainbow bee in my bonnet about this so I've ended up writing a musical show about it.

Unfortunately, 2nd time since 2019. Whilst the farmer is replanting after inconsiderate drivers in their scramble for free parking, Edinburgh Council could provide better parking & #transit.

We're leaving #Scotland today after a short stop in #fringe-ing #Edinburgh!
We've loved it, apart from 3 pests:
- #midges. A known one, but see photo below....
- #ticks. We learned that they are super common, carrying pathogens less often than on the continent, but still it's annoying to have to scan for and remove a dozen of tiny ones after some short walk even on a path.
- #cars on main roads when #cycling.
