My partner’s mum sent me a lil frog she found as she was clearing out her mum’s house, along with a note explaining that he “needed a good home”. She’s honestly the cutest.

Anyway, Frog and Toad now have a pet.

Um, why exactly are playlists turned off for content marked "for kids" on #YouTube?

Like, wouldn't a parent want to make a playlist of actually-approved-by-them-for-their-own-kids content instead of the weird dark rabbit holes the YouTube algorithm can go down?

Ok, #knitting friends-- I am finishing up pants for Toad (#FrogandToad) and need to make his jacket. I've scoured the books and images and whatnot, and to me it looks like Toad's jacket is a light green-dark green plaid.

The problem: I have no idea how to make a tiny plaid jacket.

I have a pattern for Frog's jacket, which is all one piece with sleeves picked up, but am not entirely sure how to do plaid.

Thoughts? Ideas? Patterns to recommend? Just make it a green jacket?

Should add-- I put two removable stitch markers on either side of his head where I wanted to mouth to end (like giant earrings), ran black embroidery thread in a very long running stitch to the peak of his mouth and back down, and used that as a guide. Plus it made the mouth a little more substantial. Gonna do that for Frog now, which will be a little more difficult as Frog is stuffed and Toad is not.

So I decided to do Toad’s eyes after getting the chin short rows done. It was a pain in the rear but way easier than doing it like the pattern says to do. So now Toad has eyes! #knitting #frogandtoad
