Having said that, I am especially fond of the shawl I'm wearing which is too big to photograph adequately. It's a double-size 'Mahy' hap by Karie Bookish, my first garment in handspun.
My favourite method of shawl construction is the hap (as made in Shetland): mostly garter stitch & no huge rows.

I'm #frogging this #crochet project for a few reasons...
1. I haven't worked on it in at least 5 years.
2. I don't think I'll actually wear it once it's finished.
3. I modified the pattern, but I never wrote down HOW I changed it. 🤦‍♀️

I'm going to unravel this and make something new.

Who has 2 thumbs and has to rip out 2 inches of stockinette knit on #2 needles?

Well. Sometimes when you try to do something it just doesn’t work well. Case in point: threw some bright wool on the needles the other day to make a cowl. Thought I’d add a few bands of basket stitch in rather than just stockinette stitch.
As it turns out, my columns of twist stitch (inside the edging of seed stitch) did NOT play well with the basket stitch pattern.

Da dachte ich, ich hätte meinen #HapticSweater fertig gestrickt. Er hatte die angegebene Größe, aber ich fand ihn für mich zu kurz. Ich habe noch ein bisschen 🧶übrig gehabt und unten am Bündchen was angestrickt, was mir immer noch zu kurz war. Da ich den Pulli von unten gestrickt habe, war das suboptimal. Und dann habe ich doch ernsthaft vergessen, dass ich noch ein ganzes Knäuel in einer anderen Tasche hatte 🤦🏼‍♀️
Also war #ribbeln angesagt.
