Stattdessen hab ich in der Zeit vor allem Veröffentlichungen bei Vertigo (heute: #DCBlackLabel) wie #TheSandman gelesen und natürlich Alan Moores Werke: #FromHell, #VForVendetta, sowie #Watchmen. Die frühen Marvel-Verfilmungen hab ich links liegen lassen und bin nur zum ersten Thor mitgeschleift worden. Den Schlummer hat erst #WonderWoman beendet.

Finished #reading #KissMeJudas (Graphic Novel) by #WillChristopherBaer.
This is the graphic novel adapted from the screenplay & sticks pretty closely to the source, with some condensing & a slightly modified ending.
Illustrations are deliberately sparse (think #EddieCampbell with #AlanMoore on #FromHell) & it suits the tone. The writing captures the unhinged, hallucinogenic mood of the novel. & so, whilst this recommended, first read the novel. You’ll thank me.
I gave it 5/5.
