Imagine the gross feeling of someone generating realistic imagery using your face without your consent, or your child's face with neither yours nor your child's consent. The problem is not the technology, it (almost) never is, but the use made of it.
What could be an excellent tool in the hands of an artist to speed up the concept phase is evolving as something that completely replaces human creativity, using databases of images of real and living artists collected in disregard of any copyright law.
This is not only unethical but it's illegal, doubly if those same images generated by AI are used for commercial purpose.

I have realized why #StarTrek never had "modern" music from Earth. AI Art killed art after the 21st century. Also, Star Trek did it first. Data was an AI and did music, art, poetry, and acting.
