This is some truly remarkable @internetofshit bullshit!

After buying this 6000 USD lawnmower and mowing with it for 4200 hours (or owning it for 3 years, whichever comes first) you will have to buy extra mowing time if you want to keep your yard as a sterile grass desert.

From 30 USD for 200 hours of use up to 260 USD for 2000 hours.

Or you could say fuckit and let nature live and flowers bloom.

Want an easy way of boosting your lawn's environmental friendliness? Stop maintaining it. No mowing, weeding, fertiliser, etc. In a while you'll get clovers, dandelions, daisies, buttercups, different plants depending on where you are, but all actually adapted to grow well in your area and will make your yard actually part of the ecosystem. Soon, you'll get more pollinators, you'll need to water less, no more adding new soil due to erosion, and your yard will be drought resistant.

The first thing we learned in college urban plant ecology is that lawn grass is terrible in literally every metric (water and fertiliser use, protection of soil from erosion, attractiveness to pollinators, actually being a helpful part of the ecosystem and not an invasive species, etc) and pretty much all of the wild plants we call weeds are 1000x better and carry out critical functions for the ecosystem, and that by weeding your garden you are trashing your local plant ecosystem.
