At least once a week (it happened twice last week) Outlook will put an important mail I send in the drafts folder when I hit send, instead of actually sending it.

Utterly astounding that this fucking company regards itself as competent enough to make any new software whatsoever. Utterly astounding that Microsoft still exists, really. Tech giants generally irk me, but most actually provide functional and none are as total garbage as Microsoft.

Today, the Windows taskbar has stopped auto-hiding itself, despite the auto-hide setting remaining exactly the same, resulting in information annoyingly being hidden in certain programs. My god what an incompetent company. I'm lucky to have a single day where Microsoft software actually works as it should.

At this moment, my coworker, who is literally 5 feet away from me, is trying to send me 7 photos from her iPhone.

Due to Microsoft being incompetent and anti-competitive, and Apple being anticompetitive, over 5 minutes have passed as she tries to figure out how to get me these 7 files.

Powered up a #Windows10 computer of a family member. Computer was off for like six months. It downloads some updates, asks to restart. After restart Edge and Vivaldi browsers do not work, even with firewall switched off. Tor Browser works.

It is impossible to embed a Google form in a Microsoft Outlook email and have it work, which is something many, many people need to do each day.

I have a confession to make: though I run QubesOS and various linux/bsd OS's, I do still use Windows on one (1) laptop, for various reasons.

A hearty GFY to Microsoft for removing my WIndows11 Bitlocker utility after I turned it off, which required hunting down and manually typing a 32-character code available only via a second computer and log-in.

How did I have Bitlocker disk encryption before and now do not? Was it a trial sub that ran out, or was it set up so that once turned off can never be turned on again?

Much as I dislike "WINE" it seems to be a better alternative for those special apps that only run on #windows

Microsoft patch Tuesdays (τα προβλήματα έσκασαν όλα από Τρίτη και μετά ...)
αν δεν σας παίζει το Outlook/email (οποιαδήποτε έκδοσης), τότε φταίει το τελευταίο windows update της Μ$ και όχι ο πάροχος email (...).
λυσεις/workarounds:
1) απεγκατάσταση του τελευταίου Windows update KB5018410
2) αντικατάσταση του Outlook με Mozilla #Thunderbird
3) Αντικατάσταση των Windows+Outlook με GNU/Linux + Mozilla Thunderbird
