A palm and bollards line the shore in this view north across #Lake #Pontchartrain taken with a digital camera with an #infrared pass filter. The composition is formal. The #IR exposure picks out the sun-warmed tree in prickly detail, and makes the high, cold sky appear dark. The long exposure time blurs near clouds, but leaves far clouds sharp.
