But due to them selling to OM the whole line I went with #Fujifilm and have not regretted it. The #fujifilmxt5 is a great camera.

The category of the month on @glass is #rural so I went for a drive south of #Denver today. My goodness, if you live along the Front Range in #Colorado, you have to head to the foothills. I’ve never seen them so green before!

Was able to successfully photograph daytime lightning for the first time today. Did not use a lightning trigger; instead, I used the Fujifilm “Pre Shot" feature. It's not perfect, as it requires use of electronic shutter and all of the challenges that entails. Next time I'll use my stacked sensor camera and manual focus, which should maximize my success rate using this feature. #lightning #weatherphotography #fujifilm #fujifilmxt5 #ohwx #tolwx

As I was capturing these, I felt joy because I had waited in this spot and I had set my camera to handle the direct sun so when it started peaking over the ridge I started shooting and I *knew* I was getting what I wanted. I can believe it. I’ve the Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 for my #FujifilmXT5 and it’s a great lens.
The image quality and build quality are very good. It’s not weather resistant (I shoot a LOT in poor weather) but that’s not a deal killer for me. The price and quality make it all work.

Hmm. My camera sling has a #FujifilmXT5 with a 33mm f/1.4 lens and the Tamron 18-300mm zoom.
For where I am the 33mm is fantastic. For things I want to zoom in on, so’s the Tamron. #RSSFeed

I just caught my first ever #lightning bolt. The storm over South #Denver is lighting up the night sky with huge bolts and I pointed my #fujifilmxt5 out the window on high-speed capture for 31 frames and got one.
