#FujiNet for #Commodore status, trying to work through IEC bus timing, sending back multiple responses. Could really use some help to work through the bus arbitration and timing.

#FujiNet 4 #Commodore currently debugging low level bus handling. This is a test program in BASIC that gets adapter info one line at a time. Using #pulseview to determine where the fault is happening, and a test program.

@mozzwald just pushed a new #Atari8bit #FujiNet build that fixes XEX support; you can access a mounted XEX as a DOS 2 disk, so you can copy it. This feature had been implemented but never tested. It now works correctly. Apologies to those who tried to use it and wondered why it wasn't working.

My experience with connecting old wifi interfaces to modern wifi networks vs the same thing but with Ethernet kinda tempers my enthusiasm for something like #fujiNet but it’s a lot more than just a network interface which makes it interesting.

In general its way simpler to hook new into old over Ethernet. I’m still using ADT+ with a LanceGS 10T Ethernet card I bought for my Apple IIgs maybe twenty years ago now with no extra intermediary equipment between it and my gigabit network switch.

How future proof is the wifi functionality on the fujinet?
