"Full Circle" from Steven Soderbergh is the most William Gibson type of a story that I have seen in a long while. It reminded me a bit of "Spook Country" and a bit of "Count Zero" (and maybe "Virtual Light"). No science-fiction, but the root-like structure and multiple stories which finally converge, it's all there.

I can’t remember if I posted about it but we finished #FullCircle over the weekend. It probably had too much going on for its own good but still really excellent. The Guyanese story/characters were compelling throughout.

Plus we get more Claire Danes sitting in a New York park (hello #FleishmanIsInTrouble), Timothy Olyphant being his silver fox self and Zazie Beetz playing a character that I both couldn’t stand and absolutely loved.

Sad that this didn’t get more attention as it came out.

🥥 I'm currently REALLY enjoying the MAX -- formerly #HBO -- series "#FullCircle."
Lots of my favorite actors in the cast and some that are new to me who steal the show.
It's a police-procedural dramedy with a twisty plot, plenty of complications, a whip-smart woman Postal Service Inspector, and the droll AF #JimGaffigan as a US Postal Inspector supervisor.
Everybody in this series has something to hide, and it's a roller coaster ride to see how the plot unfolds. 🥥

Why am I not hearing anyone talking about this new Steven Soderbergh miniseries on Max, #FullCircle?

The cast is totally stacked (Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, Dennis Quaid) and it is exactly the kind of ridiculous thriller I love.

I think I'm normally pretty good at following complicated layered mysteries, but I wish #FullCircle had a detailed wiki summary I could look up. (I'm not in the mood to binge it.) But congrats to Timothy Oliphant for doing that cool thing some actors can do, where just changing your bearing makes you seem like a different person. I love that trick. That's the kind of actor I wanted to be.
