Interesting to see the whole process from wool still on the sheep to the finished cloth how it was done 500 years ago.

Taking a break from the blankie shawl since after that Arctic incursion, we are now having temps in the 60s(F) which is way too warm for a snuggly wool shawl. Instead, I finally have gotten started on some felted (fulled, really) slippers for my youngest son (now in his 20s) which had been tossed on the back burner largely because all the free patterns just assumes all mens' feet only get up to size 10 or 11??? and I had no clue how to upsize since his feet are a big hammy size 15. Especially when felting is involved.

So, I found a pattern on Etsy and although I tend to be loathe to buy unknown patterns, the designer was very vocal about being open to helping if one got stuck & the reviews were good, and off I went (It was only $5, but still)!

ANYway, I just finished the sole & am about to pick up stitchs along the sides to make the body/sides of the slipper!

I know I haven't been posting progress reports in ages but I finally finished knitting Tentacle Bag 2.0 and felted it last night & hung it up to dry!

It's still a bit damp but I'm figuring by tomorrow, I'll be packing it up and putting it to work :D

(The lighting in our laundry room is terrible & not doing the colors justice... I will be taking another picture in proper daylight, I promise! ^_^)
