The next expansion for World of Warcraft has just been released, and while it is - as always artistically comprehensive - I cannot summon up any enthusiasm for it at all.
Anything bearing the mark of #Blizzard feels like something that belongs in the past now. I don't want to toss that company another dollar of my money.
Elden Ring looks beautiful and is artistically (gfx, a/v and overall atmosphere) very well done, but I feel that the "fight maaaaaasssivve, sinister bosses in EEEEEEPIC battles" is a bit... overdone at this point? Or? π€

This is what the armor layout of the USN Iowa class Battleships look like:
Green:
General Superstructure: 0.75" (19mm)
Orange:
Fore deck armor, lower armor belt: 1,25" (32mm).
Main deck armor, upper armor belt: 1,5" (38mm)
Red:
Turret tops and sides: >7,25" (>184mm)
Deep red: Turret front, Barbettes, Conning tower: >17,25" (432-439mm)
Note that the Iowa-class BBs had a two-layered side armor with the thicker casemate armor belt inside, whiuh was up to 307 mm thick.
